Las Vegas is having a summer. From July through September 2026, the city is hosting some of the biggest live events in the country: Ed Sheeran and Guns N' Roses at Allegiant Stadium, UFC 329 and the iHeartRadio Music Festival at T-Mobile Arena, Carin Leon at the Sphere, and Foo Fighters closing out the stadium season. These are not small shows. Combined, they will pull hundreds of thousands of people onto the Strip across four months.
What most of those people will not plan for is dinner. Concert crowds on the Strip are predictable: everyone finishes checking into their hotel around the same time, realizes they are hungry around the same time, and tries to get a table at the same time. The restaurants within a two-block radius of any Las Vegas arena on a sold-out show night are operating at full capacity by 6:30pm. If your plan is to figure out food when you get there, your plan has a problem.
This guide covers the big summer 2026 shows in Las Vegas by venue, with honest notes on what to eat before each one, and why Rock N' Potato at Showcase Mall consistently earns its spot as the pre-show meal that actually works.
T-Mobile Arena Shows: UFC 329 and iHeartRadio Music Festival
T-Mobile Arena sits on the west side of the Strip, tucked between New York-New York and Park MGM. The Park walkway connects it directly to Showcase Mall, which puts Rock N' Potato at approximately 0.4 miles from the arena doors. On foot, that is a 7 to 10 minute walk through a covered outdoor corridor. You do not need a rideshare, and you do not need to navigate casino floors.
Two major summer events land at T-Mobile Arena this season. UFC 329 McGregor vs. Holloway on July 11 is one of the most anticipated fight cards of 2026. T-Mobile Arena fills early for UFC events, and the energy in the surrounding area picks up hours before the first preliminary bout. Plan dinner by 5:30pm if you want to be in your seat before the prelims. The iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 18 and 19 runs across two nights, which means two consecutive evenings of elevated demand at every restaurant within walking distance of the arena. If you are attending both nights, having a spot that requires no reservation and no table wait is not just convenient, it is the only realistic two-night plan that does not involve standing in line for 45 minutes each evening.
Rock N' Potato handles both. Walk up, order at the counter, eat, and walk to the show.
Allegiant Stadium Shows: Ed Sheeran, Guns N' Roses, and Foo Fighters
Allegiant Stadium is about 1.5 miles south of the central Strip, just off Russell Road. It is not a walk from most hotels, which means the pre-show logistics involve a rideshare or a shuttle either way. That changes the calculus on where to eat: since you are already making a trip, the question is not which restaurant is physically closest but which one gives you the best meal without losing the evening to a wait.
Three stadium-scale shows anchor this corridor in summer 2026. Ed Sheeran plays Allegiant Stadium on July 18, a night that will have the stadium area and rideshare queues at full concert capacity. Guns N' Roses return to Allegiant Stadium on August 22, bringing a crowd that skews toward the Strip bar corridor for pre-show activity. And Foo Fighters close the stadium season on September 26, a Saturday night when the entire Strip will be running at summer capacity.
The practical move for any Allegiant Stadium show: eat on the Strip before heading to the stadium. Rock N' Potato at Showcase Mall is a 5 to 7 minute rideshare from Allegiant, which puts it in the same transit window as anything else you would choose. Eat by 6pm, rideshare to the stadium, and arrive ahead of the crowd that is still trying to find a table near the venue at 6:45pm.
Sphere Shows: Carin Leon
Carin Leon's residency at the Sphere runs from September 4 through September 13, with multiple shows across that stretch. The Sphere sits at the Venetian end of the Strip, on the northeast side near the Palazzo and Wynn Las Vegas. That is not the same neighborhood as T-Mobile Arena or Allegiant Stadium, so the food geography is different.
For Sphere shows, the closest high-quality options are inside the Venetian and Palazzo complexes. Eataly at the Venetian is the strongest walk-in option if you want to stay in the building. The catch on a sold-out Sphere night is the same as every other arena in this city: everyone has the same idea at the same time. Go early, plan for the counter sections rather than full table service, and build in extra time for the Sphere entry experience itself, which is part of the show.
If you are staying in the central Strip corridor rather than at the Venetian or Palazzo, Rock N' Potato is worth considering for the Carin Leon shows at the Sphere as a pre-rideshare meal. Eat at Showcase Mall, then rideshare to the Venetian end of the Strip. You arrive fed and on schedule, without competing for a table in a venue that is at full Sphere-night capacity.
Rock N' Potato: The Pre-Show Meal That Fits Every Schedule
Rock N' Potato is at Suite 207, Showcase Mall, 3785 S Las Vegas Blvd. It is counter service. You walk up, you order, the food comes out fresh. There is no reservation system because there are no tables to reserve. That distinction matters more on a summer 2026 concert night than it does on a random Tuesday.
The hours are built for concert schedules. Monday through Thursday, Rock N' Potato is open until 11:30pm. Friday through Sunday, the kitchen stays open until 1:00am. Most of the summer 2026 shows in this guide fall on Fridays and Saturdays. That means if UFC 329 runs long, if Guns N' Roses add two encores, or if the Foo Fighters setlist goes until midnight, Rock N' Potato is still open when you get out.
The menu is worth knowing before you arrive. The Original Groupie is the starting point: a fully loaded baked potato at $10.95, which is a full meal by any reasonable measure. The Chuck Berry Chicken at $15.95 is the most popular order on the savory side. The Birria King at $16.95 brings a flavor profile that is genuinely different from anything else in the food court format. If you are eating as a group or want to go all-in, the Lobster Roll at $16.95 and the Fleetwood MacDaddy at $35.95 are the premium options. The price-to-portion ratio on every item earns the 4.8 on Google across 503 reviews.

The One Rule for Food Before Any Las Vegas Concert
Whatever show you are attending this summer, the rule is the same: eat before you think you need to. The 6pm rush at restaurants near any Las Vegas arena is real, and it does not care which band is playing. If you wait until you are hungry, you are already behind the crowd.
Pick your show, find the corresponding venue guide linked above, and plan dinner around the venue's geography and your show time. Rock N' Potato handles the planning problem for T-Mobile Arena shows without a second thought, and it is a practical option for Allegiant Stadium and Sphere nights with a small amount of advance timing. Walk up, eat well, get to your seat. That is the whole plan.
