ARIA is at 3730 S Las Vegas Blvd, near the center of the Strip between City Center and Park MGM. It is a CityCenter property, which means the surrounding blocks are dense with hotels, retail, and dining, but most of it is priced to match the room rates. Guests looking for a filling meal outside the casino have options, and a few of them do not cost what a sit-down at Jean-Georges costs. This guide covers the dining picture inside ARIA, then walks through the straightforward route south along Las Vegas Boulevard to Showcase Mall and Rock N' Potato.
Dining inside ARIA
ARIA's restaurant lineup is genuinely strong. Jean-Georges Steakhouse is the flagship, a high-end steakhouse from a decorated New York chef with prices that reflect both. Bardot Brasserie handles the French bistro lane with a brunch that draws regulars and dinner pricing that is serious. Blossom is the Cantonese option on property, well regarded and in the same tier. These are all quality restaurants. None of them are where you go when you want something filling without committing to a $60 entree.
The property also has Javier's for Tex-Mex and a food court with faster, cheaper options for guests who want to eat and move on. If the goal is convenience and you are not watching the bill, ARIA keeps you on property without complaints. If you want something different at a different price point, the walk south is worth knowing about.
The walk south to Showcase Mall: 7 to 10 minutes
From ARIA, head south on Las Vegas Boulevard. The route is a direct strip walk through one of the busiest stretches of the boulevard. You will pass the Park MGM on your right at around 3770 S Las Vegas Blvd, followed by New York-New York at 3790 S Las Vegas Blvd. These two properties are adjacent and anchor the block just before your destination.
Once you are past New York-New York, look to your right (the west side of the boulevard). Showcase Mall sits at 3785 S Las Vegas Blvd, directly across from New York-New York. Enter the mall, take the escalator or stairs to the second floor, and Rock N' Potato is at Suite 207. The walk from ARIA's Las Vegas Boulevard entrance to the counter takes roughly 7 to 10 minutes at a comfortable pace. If you would rather not walk, a short ride share covers the same distance in a couple of minutes.
Rock N' Potato at Showcase Mall
Rock N' Potato is on the second floor of Showcase Mall, Suite 207. The concept is loaded baked potatoes and birria, counter service, no reservation needed. Most of the menu sits between $10.95 and $16.95, which means a full meal for two people typically runs well under what a single entree at ARIA's sit-down restaurants costs.
The Birria King ($16.95) is a loaded baked potato built with braised birria beef and enough on it to be a complete meal without anything else. The Original Groupie ($10.95) is the classic build: butter, sour cream, cheddar, and chives on a loaded baked potato, and it is genuinely one of the better values you will find at this price on the Strip. The Dirty Motley ($15.95) and the Chuck Berry Fried Chicken ($15.95) cover the fried chicken builds in the mid-range. Birria Tacos ($10.95) are the compact option if a lighter meal is all you need. The Birria Fries ($14.95) with the consomme dip are a reliable shared plate, and the Cheese Fries ($8.95) are the lowest starting point on the menu if you are just looking for something salty and satisfying.
For something on the smaller side, Wings ($10.95) and Chilaquiles Birria ($12.95) round out the menu. The Fruity Pebbles Cheesecake ($8.95) is the dessert, worth splitting if you ordered a full potato. The Fleetwood Mac ($20.95) and Fleetwood MacDaddy ($35.95) are the premium builds for guests who want the full spread.
Rock N' Potato is rated 4.8 on Google, 4.9 on TripAdvisor across 503 reviews, and Yelp Top 100 number 23 nationally for 2026. Open Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 11:30pm, and Friday through Sunday from 8:00am to 1:00am. Counter service means no wait for a table, which is relevant when you have walked off a casino floor and just want to eat.
Getting back to ARIA
The walk back is the same route in reverse, north on Las Vegas Boulevard past New York-New York and Park MGM to ARIA. If you came on foot and want to ride back, the Showcase Mall rideshare area is on the ground level of the mall complex. A short Uber or Lyft returns you to ARIA in a couple of minutes. ARIA's main entrance on Las Vegas Boulevard puts you back inside quickly, and the CityCenter pedestrian walkways give you covered options depending on where you parked or which entrance you are heading toward.
