Park MGM is at 3770 S Las Vegas Blvd, immediately south of New York-New York on the west side of the Strip. It is a mid-size hotel-casino with a curated food program, a connected walkway to New York-New York, and a location that puts guests within easy reach of several off-property options. Showcase Mall is directly across Las Vegas Boulevard, roughly a 2 to 3 minute walk from the Park MGM entrance. For guests who want something off the casino floor without committing to a cab ride or a long hike down the Strip, this is the closest external option.
This guide covers what is inside Park MGM, then explains the walk to Showcase Mall and what you will find there, including Rock N' Potato on the second floor. If you are attending an event at T-Mobile Arena, which is immediately north of Park MGM off Frank Sinatra Drive, this same walk applies to you.
Dining inside Park MGM
Park MGM's food program is anchored by Eataly, a large Italian market-style concept occupying a significant footprint inside the property. Eataly at Park MGM has a bakery, a pasta counter, a pizza section, a full sit-down restaurant, and a market where you can pick up Italian grocery items. It is a genuine destination for guests who want a deliberate Italian-focused meal without leaving the building, and the price range is broad enough to accommodate a quick bite or a longer dinner.
Beyond Eataly, Park MGM has a handful of other dining options. NoMad, the restaurant and bar concept, operates inside the property and is positioned at the higher end of the hotel's dining tier. Juniper Cocktail Lounge handles drinks and lighter fare. For guests connected to New York-New York via the shared walkway, Shake Shack and the food hall options at New York-New York are also effectively on-property walking distance, which extends the range considerably without requiring a trip outside.
On the whole, Park MGM's dining is more deliberate than the typical casino food hall model. Eataly in particular is large enough that most guests can find something that works. But if you have been on property for a couple of days and want something that is not Italian, not American bar food, and not $40 a plate, the Showcase Mall walk is worth knowing about.
The walk to Showcase Mall: 2 to 3 minutes
Park MGM is at 3770 S Las Vegas Blvd. Showcase Mall is at 3785 S Las Vegas Blvd, directly across Las Vegas Boulevard. The addresses are essentially across the street from each other, which is exactly what they are.
Exit Park MGM toward Las Vegas Boulevard. You will be heading toward the east side of the street. Cross Las Vegas Boulevard, using the crosswalk at the intersection or the pedestrian bridge if you prefer to stay off street level. Once you are on the east side of the boulevard, Showcase Mall is right in front of you. Take the escalator or stairs from the ground level up to the second floor. Rock N' Potato is at Suite 207. Door to counter, under normal Strip conditions, is 2 to 3 minutes.
If you are coming from T-Mobile Arena, the route is the same. T-Mobile Arena is just north of Park MGM, accessible via the shared plaza. Walk south toward Park MGM and then east across the boulevard to Showcase Mall. The walk from the arena concourse to Rock N' Potato is slightly longer depending on which exit you use, but it is still well under ten minutes on foot.
Rock N' Potato at Showcase Mall
Rock N' Potato is on the second floor of Showcase Mall, Suite 207. The concept is loaded baked potatoes and birria, counter service, no reservation needed. The menu starts at $10.95 for the Original Groupie and goes to $35.95 for the Fleetwood MacDaddy. Most of the menu sits between $10 and $20, which is a different price register than anything you would find at Eataly or NoMad across the street.
A few items worth highlighting: the Birria King ($16.95) is a loaded baked potato topped with braised birria beef and is substantial enough to be a full meal for most people. The Fleetwood Mac ($20.95) loads a potato with lobster mac and cheese, a combination that photographs well and eats better. The Lobster Roll ($16.95) is a standalone menu item priced well below what you would find at any hotel seafood concept on this stretch of the boulevard. The Birria Fries ($14.95) are a loaded plate that works as a shared starter or a lighter standalone meal.
If you are post-event from T-Mobile Arena and want something fast, the counter service format means no table wait. The Original Groupie ($10.95) is the quickest, simplest option. The Birria Tacos ($10.95) and Wings ($10.95) are at the lighter end. The Dirty Motley ($15.95) and Chuck Berry Fried Chicken ($15.95) sit in the middle range. The Cheese Fries ($8.95) are the cheapest item on the menu that works as a standalone.
Rock N' Potato is rated 4.8 on Google, 4.9 on TripAdvisor across 503 reviews, and Yelp Top 100 number 23 nationally for 2026. Open Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 11:30pm, and Friday through Sunday from 8:00am to 1:00am. The late Friday and Saturday hours are useful for post-show arrivals when the casino restaurants have backed up.
Other context for Park MGM guests
Park MGM's position on the Strip means guests are close to a few other notable landmarks. MGM Grand is at 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, on the east side of the boulevard just south of New York-New York, a 2 to 3 minute walk from Showcase Mall. If you are already at Showcase Mall and want to continue exploring, you are well-positioned to walk toward MGM Grand or further south toward Tropicana Ave. The section of the Strip between Park MGM and MGM Grand is among the denser parts of the boulevard for foot traffic and retail.
Park MGM sits at the north end of The Park entertainment district, which connects directly to T-Mobile Arena one block south. If you are visiting for a Golden Knights game, UFC event, or concert at T-Mobile Arena, see our T-Mobile Arena dining guide for walk-route details and timing.
Park MGM also houses Dolby Live, a 10,000-capacity amphitheater-style concert venue on the property. Dolby Live runs a full calendar of residencies and one-off shows year-round, including Bruno Mars, Sammy Hagar, Mary J. Blige, New Kids on the Block, and others. If you are attending a Dolby Live show, Rock N' Potato is one of the closest off-property food options: cross Las Vegas Boulevard to Showcase Mall, take the escalator to the second floor, and you are at the counter. The walk from the Dolby Live entrance to Rock N' Potato is under 5 minutes. For the full list of Dolby Live shows with dedicated food guides, see our Dolby Live at Park MGM food guide.
